How does Gabriella’s Kitchen pasta nutrition compare to that of chickpea pasta?
Great question! Both types of pasta offer the same amount of protein and some nutritional benefits, but how to they stack up when you put them head-to-head (or bowl-to-bowl)?
I put the nutrition info for GK pasta and chickpea pasta into a chart so you can see how they compare at a glance (see below).
For a similar serving size, GK pasta wins for having half the calories of chickpea pasta and less than half the carbs. So if you’re looking for a lighter pasta to help you meet your nutrition and health goals, GK pasta is the winner there.
Gabriella’s Kitchen GK pasta is also higher in calcium, zinc and copper than chickpea pasta.
Chickpea pasta is a bit higher in fiber and iron, but for nutrient density (nutrients per calorie) GK pasta comes out on top!
